PROPOSAL: CONTINUED SURVEILLANCE, POSSIBLE TERMINATION OF SUBJECT

…So, yeah, you know that I’m a dronebone, so you know my motto, “the dronier, the better”, haha… No, no, I’ve never saw them live and the bastids went and split up, so… Anyway, what was I telling you? Ah, yeah, I was telling you ‘bout Graves At Sea, you know them?… No? Too bad, ‘cause them guys were pretty cool… Yeah, pretty fuckin’ cool…

What?… Nonono, NOT like that, hahaha. No, these guys were, like, the only band that I know that approached “mainstream sound”, at least while being as doomy and droney and shit as possible… Yeah, they were… Yeah, they WERE, ‘cause they went and split, also, probably ‘cause they never succeed, or somethin’. Or, maybe they were taking too much drugs, donnow fer sure…

Ha, yeah, alla them bands, they seem SOOOOO much into drugs. Anyway, yeah, them Graves At Sea, they were the shit. Like, they were so doom and slow and droney, yet at the same time, you COULD, like, enjoy them, not like Khanate or Buried At Sea or Monarch! or Sunn0)))… Yeah, I know that I enjoy alla them bands, but I’m a fuckin’ dronebone, so, you know, I cannot not like ‘em…

Anyway, as I was trying to tell you, before you started asking me stupid questions, these guys were extremely nasty, but, also, they coulda been really huge. See, their music was, like, approachable, see… Yeah, they’re like Black Sabbath, but with better amps and better downers, so when they’re slow, it’s like warm mud seeping out of the speakers and when they pick up speed, it’s like a fuckin’ bulldozer…

Yeah, yeah, just like that… You knows Church Of Misery, yeah?… Okay, then, try to imagine them slower and much more heavier, if that’s possible, and you gonna have a good idea of how Graves At Sea sound… Yeah, it’s so fuckin’ doomy that it will wither the flowers in your living room, but it’s also pretty linear and it works just fine on every possible level…

No, not long at all, just half an hour and four songs… Yeah, no danger of boring the shit outta you, but, you know sumpthin’, even if it was twice the length, it wouldn’t bore the shit outta you, either. The songs are so fuckin’ concise and well-written and well played that you cannot but fuckin’ admire them Graves At Sea guys… Yeah, mofo, they were geniuses of doom…

Anyway, I gotta hung up, I’m busy. I gotta write a review of “Documents Of Grief” for them fuckers at GD, you know GD, dontcha?… Yeah, the best place for metal in retardnet… Now, shuddup an’ listen, I gotta go now, so later I’m gonna burn you a copy, no I won’t, you should buy it, go to 20 Buck Spin and buy it from there… It’s pretty cheap and it’s so fucking good, that you should have it, okay? Bye, now…
